I have set up our system to use a utility in HP-Unix called "ied" (input
editor). Use it in conjunction with interactive programs (like quiz) to
provide a command history, recall and edit capability that is not normally
available. First, notice how you run quiz now. We run it as an environment
variable defined as:

	quiz=/usr/cognos/ph.../bin/quiz <parameters>

In order to make "ied" work for you, set up an alias for quiz as follows:

	quiz='ied $quiz'

Quiz runs normally, except now you can enter <esc>k to recall lines, and all
the normal editing available in the unix shell vi-like editor is available.
If you can't edit recalled lines, enter:

export EDITOR=vi

Read the manual on ied (man ied) for more info. "ied" can be used with any
interactive program like quiz, (qtp, qdesign, pdl, etc) but be careful using
it with your own interactive scripts. Read the manual carefully first.
