PowerHouse Web Beta Now Available

The Windows NT 4.0 and HP-UX versions of PowerHouse 4GL 8.2 and PowerHouse
Web are now available for beta testing.

If you'd like some background on what can be done with these products and
how they work, please take a look at the information and white papers on the
Cognos web site at http://www.cognos.com/powerhouse/phweb.html.

And if you'd like to get involved with the beta test please send an e-mail
to adtbeta@cognos.com, letting us know which platform you are interested in
testing (NT or HP-UX), which database you will be using (including C-ISAM on
HP-UX) and which web server (Netscape, IIS, Apache, etc.) you will be using.

Although we will support the use of web servers on one platform and the
PowerHouse Web server on a different platform (for example a Windows NT web
server passing requests to an HP-UX PowerHouse Web server) this
functionality will not be available until second round beta. For now, your
web server and PowerHouse Web server must be on the same operating system --
although not necessarily the same physical machine.
