Hi Paul,
It's been a while since I worked on Unix, but as far as I remember, it
shoul be possible to share licenses between two servers
The license file on the second server should point to the licenses on the
first server.
To achive this you should do the following:
When licensing the second PH server, you should type in the hostname and
the lmhostid of the first PH server . Now the license daemon will check the
first server for available licenses.
Of course both PH servers should be connected to the same network.

Onderwerp: Licensing on version 8
Hi,
A licensing question that hopefully somebody has come across before:
We currently have a machine running PowerHouse 813C1 which is licensed for
its
specific lmhostid.
3 development and 45 run-time.
We are now installing a new machine with an extra number of users. In
total 3 development and 60 run-time which we want to share between the
2 machines.
PowerHouse will be installed on both machines but we only want to have
one license.dat file so the user licenses can be shared between the
machines.
However the licencing is determined now (in version 8) by the lmhostid.
How
would we achieve this functionality?
Any help would be appreciated
Regards
Paul Howard
