Y2K and Cognos versions

The short answer is no. For MPE/iX the version with all of the Year 2000
enhancements is 8.19 which is currently in field test. Likewise on UNIX,
the corresponding version is 8.13, and NT it's 8.11.

So before everyone asks why is OpenVMS different, I'll tell you. As you
may be aware, over the past year and a half or so, we've gone through a
code merge on all platforms. We did this to create a single source for
economies of scale. That code merge resulted in PowerHouse Series 8.
Initially, the code merge gave us a generic base without platform
specifics. The platform specifics were then rationalized as to what was
really required and we started putting them back in. We found that the
platform specifics on openVMS were quite extensive and that putting them
all back in would cause quite a delay in getting the year 2000
enhancements out to the field. So we decided to put them into a 7.10.G
which being derived from 7.10 already had all the OpenVMS specifics.
There is an 8.10 for OpenVMS with the Year 2000 features but without the
OpenVMS specifics. It would be used as an Axiant server and to move to
Sybase or Oracle.

On MPE/iX, there were far fewer platform specifics, and most were file
system and IMAGE related.
