The opt=default on the directory means that this ACE is not effective on the
directory itself, but is automatically applied to any new files created there.
It should be the directory containing the .qkc files.

No, help wouldn't. I should have told you to use $ SET ACL..., since Digital
has decreed $ SET FILE/ACL obsolete. However, it still works, and I still use
it, since I find the new syntax clunky and unmemorable. The other option is
$ EDIT/ACL.
