HP/UX and ORACLE syntax for PH v8

Thanks for all the responses.  Again the list serv proved to be a fast and 
reliable way to resolve a PowerHouse issue.  Keep it up guys. 
 
Our problem was two things.  The first was case sensitivity.  The CORRECT 
syntax is '>create database filename type oracle open 
ORACLE@username@instance/password owner username' OR '>database filename
type 
oracle open instance userid "username" password "password" owner username'. 
 
Besides case sensitivity, we NEEDED the 'owner username' part to access the 
database metadata via QSHOW, QUIZ, etc.  The owner 'username' must be the
same 
as the database connect string 'username'. 
 
Besides the messages we got on the list serv, we also found the answer in
the 
Cognos searchable database on the web.
