If you have a relational database, then you can specify an Element in
your dictionary with the same name as the column. If the element is
defined as date, then PowerHouse will treat it as a date. Another option
is to specify DATE as an option on the FIELD statement. This is useful
for items that are sometimes treated as dates and sometimes as numbers.
In QUIZ, if you specify a date format, QUIZ will treat the item as a
date for display.
