Well, as long as the inevitable is inevitable and the new list is "live",
wouldn't it make sense for everyone to start posting on the new one? or at
least posting on both?

George has indicated that he will close the "old" at the end of this month.
No exact date.

The "new" is live now. I realize that being active on two listservers for
the same purpose may get confusing but it should last only until the end
of the month.
