Portable Subfiles VAX to HP

Hello All,

I have been working with Portable Subfiles created on a VAX under 7.10e and
then porting over to a HP3000 under release 7.29 and all has worked well.
The client is going to 8.19 on the HP3000 and now the same subfiles I was
able to access under 7.29 can no longer be accessed under release 8.19.   I
have tried a couple of things where I set the QUIZ info="subformat=7) and
that did not work.  It is strange because I get no messages under 8.19 it
just hangs up with no way to break out of it.

Thanks in advance if anyone has seen this or may have a solution or things
to try.

I would also point out that I would rather not access under 7.29 and create
yet another subfile to access under 8.19 as these subfiles are quite large
and this would add greatly to the overhead.
