PUT's not working in EXIT procedure

1. You can definitely be in FINDMODE in the EXIT procedure.  If you go into
FINDMODE (say by calling the screen in MODE F), then you will stay in FINDMODE
until you change it to something else.
2. I seem to recall testing this in one of the Advanced PH classes I was
teaching, and I think it worked.  But it's been a while.
3.  I don't THINK there is a problem changing record status to ALTEREDRECORD
except in FINDMODE, but I could be wrong.  I know one of the discussion points
about why you can't change record status in FINDMODE is that we change the
record buffers a LOT while we are finding records.  After all we change them
from something, to initial values, then to whatever values have been read from
the file.  If we allowed the record status to change during FINDMODE then
every record would be ALTERED as soon as we read it into memory.

Now remember, I'm getting old and my memory's not as good as it once was... I
think. 8-)
