My PowerHouse documentation says:

Use caution with the following verbs in the EXIT procedure.

accept
delete
display
error
prompt
request
severe
edit
let
put <----
return

Try to call an internal procedure in your EXIT procedure. This way you
might be able to trick PowerHouse
into believing it's not really in the EXIT procedure. This method sometimes
works when you have
cautionary verbs. I've seen things not quite work in the Initialize
procedure but a simple call to an internal
procedure resolved it. The Initialize procedures cautionary verbs are
similar to that of the EXIT procedure.
