Hey Blue,

We are in the process of testing ph8.13c.  We had a few mishaps already but 
are also open to finding/hearing about other problems before encountering 
them ourselves.  The following is a list of issues to date that have been 
compiled by our company and another company we have been talking with.

.	Problems with starting the license server.
.	Need newer (unreleased) version of PH Client to run Client applications.
.	Entering in 8 digit dates in Quiz and Qtp for formats of YYMMDD does not 
work.
.	The New features document says that a recompile of the dictionary is all 
that is required to change date settings (i.e. input century, allow 
century, etc.) but a recompile of all source was required.
.	Using NULLSEPARATOR with format of YYYYMMDD still takes up space of 10 on 
screens, thereby defeating the purpose.

On other notes, you mention going to Oracle 8 and HP-UX 11.  I do not think 
either of these items are supported by Cognos.  You may wish to reconsider 
those jumps.

G'day all

Has anybody experienced an upgrade to PH version 8.1n on HP/UX yet?  We may 
have finally decided on our upgrade platform.  We 'may' be moving from
OpenVMS
5.5-2 to HP/UX 11, ORACLE Rdb 4.1 to ORACLE 8.8.11 and PH 6.10E1 to PH 
8.19.

ANY experience, guidance or observations you have will be greatly received.
