<body><div>We have, for the most part, successfully brought Powerhouse 4GL for Windows into the world of virtualization with Hyper-V and VMWare instances, but every once in a while we run into an issue with QTP and QUIZ.</div><div><br /></div><div>If a VM is configured with more than one NUMA node, QTP and QUIZ are unable to properly utilize the CPU. This leads me to believe that 8.41D is setup to not "multi-thread" its processes. If I setup a VM with a single processor and single core, QTP and QUIZ smoke, but that hampers everything else on the server. Is there any way to set Powerhouse (QTP and/or QUIZ) to utilize multi-threading...or has anyone found a way to trick it into thinking there is only one processor. Thanks.</div>
