<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif"">I have batchjobs and user processes that are terminating with an ASTFLT error message<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif"">I have one in particular that I’ve been using as a guinea pig (no test system) that the batchjob either sits in the batch queue in an executing state but doing nothing or it
manages to get through part of the command procedure but then terminates with an ASTFLT final status.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif"">This particular batchjob runs a small qtp then a small quiz and then prints a report.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif"">When I check the logfile, I notice that the qtp part has completed, indicated by the records read/transaction processed stats and a comment line I put in the command procedure
simply saying QTP finished and then nothing else in the logfile.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif"">Using the accounting utility I was able to determine the final status of ASTFLT.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
