In the case of QTP, look at your DEFINE statements and the expressions used.<div><br></div><div>As for workarounds, I've never had to do this, but you might be able to switch a defined item into a temporary item if the expression evaluation is done at a predictable time. For example, if the defined item is used to set a value only at a specific break, you may be able to substitute a temporary item with an ITEM statement that is evaluated at that break. </div><div><br></div><div>If the message is truly bogus, then you might get around it by rearranging things.
