On Unix and PH 7<br><br>I have a field coming from a windows based ERP. which can have a leading floating minus.. (decimal thankfully is implied) <br><br>The field in PH is defined as ZONED NUMERIC and I'm getting conversion errors on any record that has the minus sign almost like its expecting only numbers..<br>
<br>I read the file in COBOL as well and they are doing a brute force inspect/tally/replace and then multiply the result in Working Storage.. (Program is from the early 70's!)<br><br><br clear="all"><br>-- <br>Thanks<br>
