The maximum length for designer procedure names is 4 characters. Just maybe the maximum input expected is 10 characters (4 for the proc name, 1 for the dash, 5 for two 2 digit ids plus a slash).<BR>

Having problems when calling a designer procedure from the action field against multiple cluster lines; i.e. ORDER-10/11. When I call the designer procedure for the single line everything works fine but when I select multiple lines in a cluster I get the error “Too many characters were entered for this field”. I have several designer procedures on the screen and some work and some give this error. I even have two that are almost identical other than they call different subscreens yet one works and the other doesn’t.<BR>

Does anyone know what this message realty means and what is causing it?<BR>
